that's me!
I am Angela, the main photographer behind Angela & Josh Photography.
My heart behind our work is to capture the little moments you never want to forget.
As a mum, I know how quickly these years move. One day the ordinary little moments suddenly become the things we miss most.
Photographs are how we hold on to the moments that pass too quickly but deserve to be remembered forever. One day you’ll look back and remember the way they reached for your hand, the sound of their giggles, and what it felt like to be right in the middle of it all.

Child-led, relaxed and centred around connection
I don’t expect little ones to sit still, smile on cue or be perfectly behaved — because that’s not real life, and it’s usually not where the magic is. Instead, we play, move and explore, you snuggle in close, and we let your children warm up in their own time.

Gently guided
During your session, I’ll gently guide you with small prompts so you can be present with your family rather than worrying about what to do. My hope is that it feels like quality time together.
A collaboration
This is a collaboration. I’ll take the lead where you need me to, but I also want your session to feel like you.
The classic portrait
And yes, we’ll always make time for a beautiful looking-at-the-camera portrait too. This part is usually quick and simple, but so lovely to have.

I’m Josh, the other half of the name. These days I look after bookings and the office side, help with editing, second shoot now and then, and design things like this website. Angela is the one you’ll see on the day, and I make sure everything around her runs smoothly.
