The Hills District is home. We’ve photographed families here for six years, from newborns asleep on the couch to toddlers running flat out through long grass. Angela knows where the light goes gold at the end of the day, which spots are sheltered when the wind picks up, and which ones have a toilet close by for little ones.
01
Open grass at golden hour
Wide, quiet spaces where kids can run, and the last light of the day comes in low and warm.
02
Gardens and old farm buildings
Paths, big trees and heritage corners for a slower session, easy for prams and grandparents.
03
Your own backyard
Plenty of Hills families have a garden that works beautifully, and little ones are happiest on home ground.
The Hills District is Sydney’s north-west, roughly from Baulkham Hills and Castle Hill out to Rouse Hill, with semi-rural Dural and Galston on the northern edge.
Expecting?
Newborns, at home
Newborn sessions happen in your home, wherever you are in the Hills. Angela brings the wraps, outfits and a Moses basket, and works around feeds and naps.
Get in touch during your pregnancy. We’ll pencil you in around your due date and lock in the day once bub arrives.
“The email came through during my lunch break which was a nice surprise. The photos are absolutely beautiful. I'm so happy with how they turned out and they will be forever cherished on display in our home.”

Which suburbs do you cover?
All of the Hills District, including Kellyville, North Kellyville, Rouse Hill, Castle Hill, Baulkham Hills, Bella Vista, Norwest, Glenhaven, Cherrybrook, Dural and Galston. We travel further for the right spot too, like the beach.
Is there a travel fee?
Not within the Hills District. A travel fee may apply further out, and we’ll let you know when we reply.
Where will our session be?
We choose together once we know your family. Angela suggests a spot to suit your kids’ ages, the season and the look you love, usually a short drive from home.
